Another short week so there is no spelling homework.
Students continued to work on the Tollbooth brochure project. They will have the rest of this week's class time. The final project is due Monday, February 25th at the beginning of the hour.
This Friday's fun activity is an "electronics" hour. Students can bring electronic games, phones, I-pods, etc. They can also bring a snack and a drink.
Reading/Writing: Students will be creating a travel brochure for the Land of Wisdom. Today they examined brochures for various Michigan attractions and determined the important element of a travel brochure. Much of this work will be done in class, with the final touches being added at home. Brochure is due Friday, February 22nd.
Students continued to work on their use of adjectives. They wrote a descriptive paragraph in class.
Writing: Students were assigned a poetry writing assignment. They will be describing a favorite place. We will be working on this in class for the next few days. The project is due Friday, February 8th.
