Reading/writing:  Students have been reading about and listening to non-fiction books about a variety of civil rights heroes.   This week they will be writing an essay about courage. They will write about the courage of the individuals we have read and talked about.  They will also write about a time they showed courage.  
                          Final drafts of the essay are due on Friday, March 28th.

NON-FICTION BOOK REPORTS WERE ASSIGNED TODAY.  CLASSES WENT TO THE LIBRARY TO CHOOSE THEIR NON-FICTION BOOK.  
                              BOOK REPORTS ARE DUE ON APRIL 15TH.
