Writing: Students began work on a "Text Connections" essay. They had most of class today and will have all of class tomorrow. The rough and final drafts are due on Monday.

Reading: Students continued with the non-fiction unit and will be exploring "Historic Accounts" this week.  They read "Backwoods Boy" in class, pgs. 316-324.

NON-FICTION BOOK REPORTS WERE ASSIGNED TODAY.  CLASSES WENT TO THE LIBRARY TO CHOOSE THEIR NON-FICTION BOOK.  
                              BOOK REPORTS ARE DUE ON APRIL 15TH.

  English: Students finished the pronouns unit.  Hopefully, everyone will now use pronouns correctly.
