Reading: Students read an essay about the Loch Ness Monster.  After finishing the reading, they wrote a one-paragraph essay about their opinion on its existence.

Persuasive letter is due tomorrow.
Students discussed Michigan's Adventure and received their permission slips.  $10 and the permission slip is due to their 8th hour teacher by May 29th.

Tuesday, May 21, 2013

Students worked on their persuasive letter.  This was the last day to work on the letter in class.  It is due on May 23rd.

There is no other homework this week.

English: Students continued to practice prepositions.

Monday, May 20, 2013

Students in 2nd hour worked on a four paragraph essay that was due at the end of the hour.
No spelling homework.

Persuasive letter about the environment is due May 23rd.

Students continued to work on their persuasive essays.
