Friday is the end of the marking period.  All late/fix assignments are due by the end of the day on Friday.  Each student was given a list of assignments that need to be taken care of.

There will be no homework this week.  Students turned in their final writing assignment for this marking period this morning. 

Students will be watching the historical account Ruby Bridges Wednesday and Thursday.

Delayed start. Students began with third hour.

Writing: Third hour students wrote a four paragraph essay in class.  Topic was chosen from the "What's the Scoop" topic list.
Spelling: There is no spelling homework this week.

Last day to turn in missing assignments for this marking period is Friday, March 22nd!!!

English: Review of double negatives.  Test on modifiers tomorrow.

English: Students reviewed the use of double negatives in preparation for the English test on Friday.

Reading: Students read a short story about school segregation.  Discussed the problems that students faced before integration.
